The building was adapted from 4 terraced houses dating from the late Victorian period, today it comprises a total of 46 rooms, of which 5 are suites, spread over 5 floors. In addition to a 24-hour reception desk, the hotel includes a salon-style lobby where guests may relax.
A lively bar and 2 restaurants are also on hand and room and laundry services complete the range of services offered. The hotel houses an exhibition of some pieces of memorabilia relating to Sir Ernest Shackleton. The rooms are offbeat, but elegant and classically decorated.
