For some 15 years the hotel served an official residence of the Queen of Sweden. This antique, rural house is sheltered by a beautiful park, rich in botanically diversity, with a spectacular panoramic view of Ischia Island.
Throughout the years the hotel (known as The House of the Queen by the locals) has preserved its original flavour: subdued, elegant, stylish and tasteful. Guests are welcomed into the reception by a 24-hour check-in and check-out service. There is a café and a breakfast room.
Facilities include a hotel safe, wireless Internet access and room and laundry services. The hotel has 22 rooms. The rooms are pleasantly furnished in a Classical style, with private bathrooms, a double bed, hairdryer, telephone, Sky TV (a pay-per-view movie channel), Internet access and minibar (for a fee).
Some rooms have individually-adjustable air conditioning (free of charge), a washing machine, balconies and terraces, from which it is possible to enjoy views over the sea of Capri and the surrounding parklands. The building is centrally heated in the wintertime.
