1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of StayTick (StayTick.com and StayTick.es) and any booking you make through our platform. By accessing the website, creating an account or completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in order to make a booking.
2. About StayTick and our service
StayTick is an online accommodation-booking platform (an OTA) operated from Spain. We help you search, compare and book accommodation only — hotels, apartments, resorts and similar lodging. We do not sell flights, car rental, transfers, tours or any other travel service.
StayTick acts as an intermediary. When you make a booking, we arrange and confirm your accommodation with a third-party hotel or supplier on your behalf. The accommodation contract for your stay is between you and the hotel or supplier that provides it. StayTick is not the provider of the accommodation itself.
3. Booking process and confirmation
To make a booking you select your accommodation, dates and room, review the details and price, and submit your booking request together with payment. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation from us (typically by email) containing your booking reference.
Please review your confirmation carefully and contact us promptly if any detail is incorrect. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and contact details so that we and the accommodation can reach you.
4. Prices, taxes and payment
We believe in transparent pricing. The price shown for your booking is the price you pay. StayTick does not add hidden booking or administration fees of its own.
- Prices are shown in the currency indicated and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at the time of booking.
- Certain local charges (for example a tourist or city tax, or a refundable deposit) may need to be paid directly to the accommodation. Where this applies, it will be indicated before you confirm.
- Payments are processed by trusted third-party payment processors (for example Stripe). Interest-free instalment options may be offered through a provider such as Scalapay, subject to that provider's own terms and eligibility checks.
StayTick does not store full card details; these are handled by the payment processor under their security standards.
5. Cancellations, modifications and refunds
Cancellation, modification and refund conditions are set by each hotel or supplier and are shown to you before you confirm your booking. Different rooms or rates may carry different conditions (for example fully refundable, partially refundable or non-refundable).
- To cancel or change a booking, follow the instructions in your confirmation or contact us, and we will apply the applicable policy.
- Where a booking is refundable, any refund is processed according to the supplier's policy and returned to your original payment method.
- Refund timing depends on the supplier and your payment provider, and may take several business days to appear.
It is your responsibility to read the cancellation policy shown at the time of booking before you confirm.
6. Your obligations and accurate information
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when registering and booking, and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity under it. You agree to use the platform lawfully and not to make fraudulent or speculative bookings, interfere with the platform, or use it on behalf of others without authority.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the platform — including the StayTick name and logo, text, graphics, layout and software — is owned by StayTick or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the platform only for your personal, non-commercial booking purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
Because StayTick acts as an intermediary, the stay itself — including the condition of the property, services, facilities and on-site conduct — is provided by and is the responsibility of the hotel or supplier. StayTick is responsible for the booking and intermediation service we provide to you.
To the extent permitted by law, StayTick is not liable for the acts, omissions or failures of the accommodation provider, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory consumer rights.
9. Data protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law (including the GDPR). Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use and protect your information and how to exercise your rights.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law and applicable European Union law. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that allow you to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. The version in force when you make a booking applies to that booking. We encourage you to review this page periodically; the "last updated" date above indicates when it was last revised.

13. Guest nationality and hotel pricing
It is the guest's sole responsibility to enter the correct nationality of the booking holder (the lead guest) at the time of booking. Some hotels and suppliers apply different rates, taxes or charges depending on the nationality or country of residence of the guest.
An incorrect nationality may result in additional charges applied directly by the hotel at check-in, or in the accommodation declining to honour the rate. StayTick submits the nationality you provide to the accommodation supplier and is not responsible for charges, differences or refusals arising from an incorrect nationality.
