About this accommodation
The air-conditioned hotel Parador de León is equipped with a 24h reception (check-in is possible around the clock), a lobby bar, Wi-Fi, an internet corner, 2 lifts, a first aid kit, parking spaces as well as a TV lounge with satellite TV.
Furthermore This luxury hotel is located in what was once the 16th century Monastery of San Marcos, one of the most important monuments of the Spanish Renaissance. Its façade is a gem of Spanish Plateresque style, in addition to other Baroque elements that were incorporated into the building.
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the centre of León, and 46 km away from Astorga . Inside, the complex has several event rooms and various halls, decorated with antique furniture, works of art and tapestries.
Its rooms stand out for their exquisite decoration, in a classic style, combined with other modern and minimalist elements.
As for its restaurant (Rey Don Sancho), it offers a traditional menu with innovative touches and local products such as cecina (cured ham) and black pudding from León, and tasty dishes such as Riaño beef sirloin with sweet and sour figs and chestnut purée. The wine options are also varied and local.
